Founded by Rekik Bekele in 2016, the company has sold over 9,000 solar energy products and is on the way to meet its five-year goal of delivering electricity access to 600,000 Ethiopian rural households.
Green Scene has partnered with Ethio Telecom to be the first Ethiopian renewable energy company to offer a pay-as-you-go service for solar energy technologies for households, productive businesses, and community centers.
